Our purpose built Training Centre allows us to offer practical, hands on experience on gas equipment and appliances, along with classroom based training and assessments.
We are an approved European Registration Scheme (ERS) Training and Gas Assessment Centre.
With easy access to the motorway system, free parking, a relaxed teaching style and competitive pricing; we attract clients from the length and breadth of Britain.

Are you interested in a career in the gas industry?
If so we can help you take your first steps into the industry.
The ERS Guild of Gas Fitting Operatives (GGFO) Course is a managed learning program and complies with IGEM/IG/1.
The course consists of theoretical and practical instruction in basic gas safety training in either domestic, commercial or catering routes with in house classroom training and assessments carried out over a 6 month period) and ‘on the job’ training under the supervision of a Gas Safe registered engineer to build a portfolio of experience.
You must have your own placement with a company or sole trader and be able to build an onsite portfolio of evidence.
(Advice on building your portfolio will be given prior to commencing the course.)

Electrical Safe Isolation
- An understanding of Safe Isolation, the relevant procedure and statutory requirement.
- Confidence that staff members can carry out their own electrical isolation procedure on the equipment they are maintaining, competently and safely.
- Dangers of Electricity.
- Relevant statutory Safety Regulations GS38
- Gas Safe Technical Bulletin 118
- Single Point Safe Isolation procedure.
- Equipment required to carry out the Isolation Procedure.
- Learners will receive a certificate of competence from ERS Certification
- This certificate is in accordance with EAWR
- The course is delivered in the classroom with a practical demonstration and hands on practical on a Single Point Isolation.
- Learners assessed in written and practical exercise.
